OmniMount Expands to International Market

OmniMount has hired World Marketing Associates, a well-known rep firm, to launch company product lines throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The company has been growing over the last couple of years, with new product lines specifically targeting professional markets (hospitality, medical, education and large venue).

Francis Williams and Julian Young are the representatives hired at World Marketing Associates. They will be responsible for setting up a distributor network across the Atlantic.

Autonomic Controls Cloud Based Media Server

The Mirage Media Server is a new device from Autonomic Controls that combines traditional media server functionality with Internet could technology that gives users global access to their content, as well as streaming media services.

The content on the server is stored over a private, secure digital locker on the web. This allows the server to automatically synchronize multiple units in remote locations, and it gives users access to their media on any portable or web-enabled device.

RTI Adds Apple Integration Via iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has developed the RTIPanel app, which will allow any iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad control an XP series remote processor. The application will not be released until later this year.

Once the app is installed, users can have total control over RTI’s XP series of remote processors including the XP-8, and the upcoming XP-3 and XP-6.  Lighting, security, A/V and climate systems are all accessible from anywhere in the world.
